The Gift of Life

My S14 came off of life support today!!!lol My SR20 started for the first time today. Everything seems to run fine. Thank God that I does not have the dreaded VTC Rattle. It still has a rocky idle from time to time, but that will be fixed once all of the vacuum lines are hooked up. But for the most part it runs smooth. Gonna try to post a video of it later, I forgot my memory card to the camera today.

Got my coldpipe from the shop, had to get the flange welded on. I got everything set up, here's how it looks.

Did a mock up of the headlights today, well actually only one. But here's what it looks like.

Got my Vertex front bumper and side skirts today.

Intercooler Installation Pt.1

Finally started the process to mount up my intercooler. Here are some pictures of how things are coming. I still need to fit the intake side, hopefully I will be able to do that tomorrow.

SR20DET Installation

Got my SR20 placed in my car today. It took a little longer than I expected, but with the help of my dad and my cousin Al, it finally got settled into it's new home. I was only able to snap a couple of pictures today but there will be more to come.

Happy Independence Day

Almost forgot...Happy Independence Day. If it was not for today occuring, I would probably be working on an Aston Martin instead of my S14...lol

Intercooler Pipe Arrival

Intercooler pipes arrived off of the UPS truck today. I mocked them up to get an idea how they would fit on the car, intercooler, and motor. Everything seems to be good. Can't wait to get everything connected after I set the motor in. Which should hopefully be taking place in about 8-10 hrs. after writing this. Snapped some pix of what it looks like.
